About the Role

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Executive to drive new business in the London area. This role is ideal for someone with a strong track record in sales and a passion for revenue growth, targeting primarily hedge funds and asset managers with our bespoke data product solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients within the investment management sector.
- Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and articulate the value of our data products effectively.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure.
- Achieve and surpass set sales targets with a focus on revenue generation.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and manage sales reporting and forecasting.
- Operate independently, yet coordinate effectively with the sales team and transition accounts to account managers post-sale.
- Participate in client meetings and industry events, with occasional travel as needed.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in data products or financial services.

  • Proven ability to close deals and drive revenue.

  • Solid understanding of the investment management industry, especially hedge funds and asset managers.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • High energy, motivated, and eager for success.

  • Capable of working autonomously and within a team.
