About the Role
Seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Executive to drive new business in the London area. This role is ideal for someone with a strong track record in sales and a passion for revenue growth, targeting primarily hedge funds and asset managers with our bespoke data product solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients within the investment management sector.
- Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and articulate the value of our data products effectively.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure.
- Achieve and surpass set sales targets with a focus on revenue generation.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and manage sales reporting and forecasting.
- Operate independently, yet coordinate effectively with the sales team and transition accounts to account managers post-sale.
- Participate in client meetings and industry events, with occasional travel as needed.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in data products or financial services.
Proven ability to close deals and drive revenue.
Solid understanding of the investment management industry, especially hedge funds and asset managers.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
High energy, motivated, and eager for success.
