We are looking for a Private Equity Sales Director / Associate Director to join the fast-paced team and be a key driver of the company’s exciting expansion plans in North America, reporting directly to the Head of PE Sales - Americas. You will build relationships at all levels of Private Equity with a concentration on VPs, Principals and Directors.

About the Role

• Continuously and strategically research, qualify, and approach a pipeline of relevant prospects
• Nurture and track accounts, and identify additional opportunities across the Private Equity portfolio and investment teams
• Deliver the unique Finquest value propositions to customers through a variety of channels including phone calls, social media, in-person and virtually. Employ value-based conversations to arrive at a highly differentiated solution
• Establish a high and consistent cadence of in-person meetings, and organize/attend networking events
• Participate in marketing efforts such as press releases, case studies, testimonials, conferences, and speaking at events
• Develop sales strategy and account plans, leveraging data and pollination to win business. Prioritize and segment accounts, and identify key go to markets
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and develop accurate forecasts
• Keep and maintain pristine CRM data
• Jointly and proactively with the Client Team, monitor the satisfaction of our clients
• Contribute to the further development of sales materials and tools

  • 3-10 years+ selling of professional services or software sales to Private Equity or Corporate M&A

  • Use consultative solution selling to drive the sales process and close opportunities through expert negotiation including managing the contract and approval process for new deal

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

  • Strong interpersonal skills, cross cultural awareness & works effectively in a team

  • Strong business acumen

  • Self-starter, driven, energetic, and at ease with conducting presentations via video and in-person

  • Ability to travel interstate regularly


  • Substantial established senior relationships within Private Equity deal teams

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals

  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical sales approach (mastery of volume lead generation, sales pipeline management, and deal closing)

  • Ability to think laterally, see ways around obstacles and barriers, and adapt to each client’s decision-making process
