About the Role

Our client, a leading provider of financial research and market analysis, is seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join their team. This role is critical to expanding the company's footprint within the asset management, hedge fund, and wealth management sectors. The position can be based in their New York City office or remote, depending on the candidate's preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development: Identify and engage with key decision-makers in asset management firms, hedge funds, and wealth management organizations to generate new business opportunities.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at driving revenue growth and expanding the client base within the target sectors.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and how the company’s research solutions can meet them.
Deal Closure: Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with senior-level stakeholders, demonstrating a proven ability to exceed sales targets.
Market Insight: Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to effectively position the company’s offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven Track Record: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a senior sales role within financial services, specifically selling to asset managers, hedge funds, and/or wealth management firms.

  • Strong Network: Established connections with decision-makers in the target sectors.

  • Sales Expertise: Demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value deals and achieve or exceed revenue targets consistently.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and the competitive landscape in financial research.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.

  • Self-Motivated: Highly driven with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
