About the Role

As an Institutional Sales Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to drive subscription sales into the investment management sector. You will leverage your proven track record in sales, particularly in the area of subscription-based services, to cultivate and expand our client base. Your deep understanding of investment management and strategy, combined with your ability to articulate the value of our research offerings, will be essential in driving revenue growth for our firm.

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the investment management sector.
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers at buy side institutions, including pension funds, wealth managers, insurance companies, and family offices, to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.
- Present and demonstrate the value proposition of our investment research offerings to clients, showcasing how our services can drive revenue growth and enhance investment strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the research team to stay updated on the latest insights and developments, ensuring you are equipped to address client inquiries and provide expert advice.
- Negotiate and close subscription agreements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials, campaigns, and events to support sales efforts.


  • Proven track record of successfully selling subscription-based services, preferably within the investment management industry.

  • Strong understanding of investment strategies and research methodologies, with a genuine interest in staying updated on market trends and developments.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, adapting to changing priorities and leveraging opportunities.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field (advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus).
