About the Role
An established, globally-recognized financial data and research firm is seeking a driven and strategic Head of Sales to lead their expanding global team. With a strong foundation in providing top-tier data and research solutions to the buy-side.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and drive the performance of both new business development and account management teams, focused on selling data and research solutions to investment management clients worldwide.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with the organization’s growth objectives, ensuring revenue targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key buy-side clients, acting as a trusted advisor to help them leverage research and data to make informed investment decisions.
- Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals across various markets, fostering a high-performance culture and providing coaching to support individual and team development.
Requirements
Proven experience in leading sales teams within financial data, research, or SaaS industries, with a successful track record of selling to buy-side institutions.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience overseeing both new business and account management functions.
Exceptional understanding of financial data and research products and their application for investment management clients.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
