About the Role
We are currently seeking a Junior Account Manager on behalf of our client. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience, preferably with a background in financial services or data products, and must be familiar with the buy-side and investment management across capital markets.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with an existing portfolio of clients, predominantly through remote communication, supplemented by occasional face-to-face interactions.
- Understand and address clients' needs, ensuring high retention rates and client satisfaction.
- Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
- Resolve client issues efficiently, coordinating with various internal teams as necessary.
- Maintain accurate client records and contribute to account strategy discussions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure a seamless transition of accounts from sales to account management.
2-4 years of relevant experience in account management or a related field.
Solid understanding of the investment management industry and familiarity with the buy-side market.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to manage client accounts effectively, with a focus on retention.
Ability to identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
